Take any one of our Nasi Kandar dishes... and you will return home as a happy customer.
All of our specially-trained chefs are all curry experts. They probably are the best curry chefs in town. But curry alone, would not make the experience great.
To make it great, Nasi Kandar are normally a mix of a fried/dry dish and a curried dish. One suggestion is to try our Ayam Goreng and Sotong Kari together...
But that also, would not make it great...
To make it great, Nasi Kandar must be 'flooded' with Kuah Campur (Mixed Curries)...! This would make a great Nasi Kandar meal.
To make it greater, Nasi Kandar is better enjoyed when eating with your fingers..! So c'mon, let's dig in..!! |

Biryani Gam

Nasi Beriani Gam is a biryani rice dish originating from India with a cooking method very similar to Hyderabad biryani but with spices adjusted to suit the Malay palate - with secret recipes from the state of Johor.
The rice is cooked as per any other biryani but the pot is sealed when the rice is nearing its full cooking stage, thus being called “gam”. Back then, dough is used to seal the lid but these days, it can be towels or even newspapers.

Our Nasi Lemak is cooked in its traditional way: kukus. The process is intricate and complex. The end result: soft fluffy rice added with your favorite sambal, eggs and cucumber.

Instant Fried Squid

This is really one delicious dish..!
All of the Instant Fry dishes at Kayu Nasi Kandar are great. But the mixture of Instant Fry Sotong with your other Nasi Kandar curry and dishes, is simply lip-smacking.
The portions are rather large - so sharing is the idea again. |
